Connecting Peers to Peers for Success
Meet the Founder

Felicia Tay embarked on her tutoring journey in the fall of 2019, during her first semester at the University of Colorado Boulder. While pursuing a degree in Finance and Pre-Medicine, she discovered that her peers frequently sought her expertise in various classes, leading her to take on part-time tutoring for fellow business students. This endeavor continued into 2020, even amidst the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 campus shutdown.
As the shift to online learning became prevalent, Felicia observed a growing number of students struggling to adapt, and her effective tutoring sessions gained widespread recognition. Having successfully assisted over 20 students in a single semester, Felicia recognized the need to expand her tutoring services. In January of 2021, she founded Pick a Peer Tutoring LLC.
Leveraging her close relationships with academic advisors and professors, Pick a Peer Tutoring LLC quickly became a prominent force on campus, aiding over 600 students to date. Despite graduating in May 2022 and transitioning into her professional career, Felicia remains dedicated to ensuring the continued success and quality of tutoring sessions provided by Pick a Peer Tutoring.
